Nomination Instructions for Texas A&M University Chapter of Sigma Xi Outstanding Distinguished Scientist Award
DEADLINE EXTENDED: Nominations are due Feb. 28, 2020
The Texas A&M University Chapter of Sigma Xi, the Scientific Research Honor Society, accepts nominations for the Sigma Xi Outstanding Distinguished Scientist Award annually from December 1 to February 13. The recipient will receive a plaque and $750 cash prize at the annual Sigma Xi Induction and Awards Banquet and deliver the Outstanding Distinguished Scientist Lecture, hosted by the A&M Chapter of Sigma Xi.
For a nominee to be competitive, he or she should have credentials equivalent to those of previous recipients. (See past award recipients)
Nominations should include the following:
- Nomination Letter
- Curriculum Vitae
- Letters of Support (two required)
Nominations are due by February 13 and may be submitted via email, campus mail, or U.S. mail to:
