Undergraduate Research Expo

Undergraduate Research Expo Set For Wednesday, October 1, 2014.

Honors and Undergraduate Research and Sigma Xi the Scientific Research Society invite faculty and undergraduate research programs to participate in the Undergraduate Student-Faculty Research Expo scheduled Wednesday, October 1, 2014, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., in the Rudder Exhibit Hall. The purpose of the Expo is to make undergraduates aware of research opportunities across campus (in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, as well as business, education, humanities, social sciences, and arts) by providing a venue where undergraduate students can discover research opportunities by talking with faculty and current undergraduate researchers.  Over 400 undergraduate students attended the expanded Expo last year.

Faculty seeking undergraduates to work in their research programs are strongly encouraged to exhibit at the Expo.  Feel free to bring posters, research displays, and handouts.  Tables and chairs will be provided for all exhibitors.  Table space is limited so please reserve your space well in advance.  To reserve a table, general inquiries about the Expo schedule, organization, and resources available may be directed to Tammis Sherman ugr@tamu.edu or 979-458-0039.
