Outstanding Science Communicator

Nomination Instructions for Texas A&M University Chapter of Sigma Xi Outstanding Science Communicator Award
The Texas A&M University Chapter of Sigma Xi, the Scientific Research Honor Society, accepts nominations for the Sigma Xi Outstanding Science Communicator Award annually from December 1 to February 13. The recipient will receive a plaque and $750 cash prize at the annual Sigma Xi Induction and Awards Banquet.

This award is given annually by the A&M Chapter of Sigma Xi to a person who has demonstrated superior skill and dedication to improving science education. Recipients are recognized at the annual Sigma Xi Induction and Awards Banquet.

For a nominee to be competitive, he or she should have credentials equivalent to those of previous recipients. (See past award recipients)

Nominations should include the following:

  • Nomination Letter
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Letters of Support (two required)
